Advocacy
My job is to support parents and assist them with obtaining accommodations, wrap-around services and special education. Trying to obtain the supports from your child's school can be incredibly grueling and emotionally draining. Having an advocate can make the process so much smoother.
Advocates can be very expensive because we really are worth it. At the same time, it is important to offer affordable options. Pay for only what you need or select the all-inclusive package.
Free Initial Consultation
Initial consultation is a 45 minute meeting to discuss your concerns and identify a plan of action.
Information Gathering
A review of all the documentation about your child synthesized and explained to the parent(s).
Virtual Attendance
I attend the meeting via Zoom to assist the parent(s) with advocating for the best interest of the child.
In-Person Attendance
I attend in person and assist parents with advocating for their children.
IEP Review
A review of your child's IEP or 504 Plan and collaborate on generating a plan that you are satisfied with.
Letters
Letters are written for you to present to the school to facilitate the most tactful communication.
